Deal Propensity

I love cold calling.  The thrill to close a deal with someone you never knew before you approached them is very rewarding.

But, there’s a fine line between being persistant and just darn annoying.  When approaching someone cold – you need to quickly judge whether there’s a propensity to get a deal done.  What I often found is that deals happen if what you are proposing is already on their radar.  They have already internalized it but more often than not, didn’t have the required time to focus on it.

If the propensity isn’t there.  Walk away and be respectful of people’s time.
